'The Three Baskets', is the name for the 3 main divisions of the Pāli Canon:

• the Basket of Discipline (Vinaya Pitaka),

• the Basket of Discourses (Sutta Pitaka) and

• the Basket of Philosophy (Abhidhamma Pitaka).
